Video Cassette Players
VCP-010-06/07-x - Multi-Standard Video Cassette Player
This unit plays versions of NTSC, PAL, and MESECAM video cas-
settes. The video output format is selectable between NTSC or
PAL mode. AI source equipment can be optionally controlled by
infared remote (AI-RC1-170xxx). Playback options with this
remote include visual search, pause, play, stop, fast forward,
rewind, eject, and format. A unique infrared strapping feature
allow up to either four or eight similar devices to be used
in the same system at the same time while maintaining inde-
pendent control. The number of devices available for use in the
strapping feature depends on the unit’s infrared system configu-
ration. The “-06” model is equipped with a curved front panel bezel while the “-07” incorporates a
flat front panel bezel. 28 VDC operation. The "-x" suffix designates the type of connector that is uti-
lized; -1=Positronic and -2=D-subminiature.

VCP-014-xx-x - Multi-Standard Stereo Video Cassette Player
The VCP-014-xx-x is a 4 Head Video Cassette Player that is
specifically designed to meet the special requirement of
aircraft use. The unit plays NTSC, PAL, SECAM, and MESE-
CAM video formats (its output is the same as its input). In
addition, the VCP-014-xx-x is capable of defaulting to the
video input source when the tape is off. The VCP-014-xx-x
can be mounted in a cabinet or bulkhead. A unique strap-
ping feature allow up to four similar devices to be used in
the same system at the same time while maintaining independent control. 28 VDC operation.

IFR-485-xx-x - Infrared Repeater System Provides the
necessary interface to convert hand-held remote (AI-RC1-17xxxx)
signals to be sent through the data bus or infrared data lines for remote
operation of cabin management functions or entertainment source
equipment. The remote system gives the operator the capability of
controlling all units from any location in the cabin. The unit allows
remote operation even when equipment is hidden from line-of-sight (i.e. inside cabinets, remote
cabin positions, etc). The unit is lightweight and compatible with most remote controlled equip-
ment. 150mA at 28 VDC operation.
The "-xx" in the model number designates the configuration of the unit. The "-x" suffix designates
the type of connector utilized.

MSM2815 - Infrared Interface Module Provides interface for remote control of cabin
accessories such as as shades, lights, etc. Requires an IFR-485-xx-x to receive infrared signals from
the hand-held remote. The MSM2815 decodes signals received through the IFR-485-xx-x and
activates the defined functions. Each unit can control up to 27 separate functions. 28 VDC operation.
